Ms. Gutbrod graduated from Case Western Reserve School of Law in May of 2022. Prior to joining BSPH as an Associate, Elena was a Law Clerk with Bonezzi Switzer Polito & Hupp and an extern for the Federal Public Defender’s Office. She was a fellow for the Hugo Grotius Scholar and International Law Fellowship. During law school, she also participated in the Cleveland Homeless Legal Assistance Project (CHLAP). Ms. Gutbrod was a member and the vice president of finance of the Jonathan Ault Mock Trial Team. She will be practicing in the areas of Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home Negligence Defense.
